F.A.Q
1. What is a turret winder or unwinder?
A turret winder or unwinder is an industrial production machine designed to wind and unwind materials such as plastic film, paper, nonwoven materials, or rubber.
The turret (or drum) is the central component of the winder and unwinder, enabling continuous, non-stop production.
2. What are the advantages of our turret winders and unwinders?
Our turret winders and unwinders offer several key advantages, starting with a significant increase in productivity. Thanks to turret technology, they enable continuous operation without production interruptions.
Our machines are easy to operate, featuring ergonomic user interfaces. They are also quick to install and straightforward to use. Operator comfort and safety are key priorities. All our machines comply with the strictest safety standards on the market to ensure optimal and secure operation.
3. What types of materials/products are compatible with our machines?
Our machines are designed to wind or unwind a wide range of materials, mainly plastics, nonwovens, paper, rubber, and laminated materials.
For more detailed information depending on each machine, please contact us at contact@mondon.com.
4. What training system is provided for operators?
Each operator using Mondon machines, whether from the Excellence range, Rewolex® range, or our accessories, receives proper training to ensure smooth operation and maximum safety.
User manuals are provided, along with regular training sessions.
5. How are Mondon machines installed on site?
After design and manufacturing at our Mondon factory, the machines are carefully disassembled and shipped to your production site.
Mondon workshop technicians then travel on-site to reassemble the machine exactly as it was in our facilities. Commissioning is carried out with precision to ensure optimal performance.
6. What is the Rewolex® range?
Rewolex® is a range of standard machines specially dedicated to automatic change winding and unwinding operations (up to 200 m/min). Reliable, accurate and easy to integrate, these machines are designed for nonwovens and plastics manufacturers who are looking for performance and automation.
7. What are the technical specifications of the Rewolex® machines?
The unwinders and winders of the range share common specifications:
Product width: from 500 to 2,000mm
Roll diameter: up to Ø 1,200mm
Speed: up to 200m/min
